Flash Games

Flash is a great technology for creating relatively simple games, though real-time 3D is a bit beyond it at present.
My games experience at Sony taught me a great deal about what makes a game work and what is a fun activity. While I was working for Sony's Special Projects department I championed the use of flash in rapid prototyping of the game interface, allowing the designer to describe the look and feel without high end C programming. I understand that Flash libraries have now been written to export these prototypes directly to the Playstation.
I wrote and adapted a good number of Flash games while working for Alchemy and probably one of the first viral games for the Aftershock site Get Shorty, that tied a branded pacman game into a MySQL database that emailed a player when there high score was beaten.
But since Alchemy I have had little chance to work on many games with the exception of Inter Cricket for Tango Zebra. This is a nice little pseudo 3D cricket game and hopefully in the future I will get to work on more.
