Flash Training
Ever since leaving university I have been involved with education and training packages. While working for the well respected educational publisher Dorling Kindersley, I produced 3 'edutainment' products, being responsible for the 3D and navigation.

Although these applications were CD based, I learned a great deal about the whole education market working with many experts who had been producing this type of title in book and video form for 20 years.

My most recent Flash work for Honda the Virtual Institute, is a full on learning management system and is used to train, test and promote their staff.

The whole system is modular, with the course content and sequence defined by XML documents. This allows simple reuse ability of the content players and the ability to modify course content. A student's progress is tracked by SCORM calls and their progress displayed.
